Blessings!

I'm back! It has been two years since I have blogged. In that two years I have been blessed so much. One major blessing of mine is my husband as of April 7, 2012. In 5 months I have learned so much about myself, so much about my husband, and constantly learning so much about God's picture of marriage. One example in my life is my sweet grandparents that have been married over 65 years. They constantly put God first and care for each other even more than themselves. Another great example is my parents. They portray the picture of servanthood and giving up everything they have for their family. Cory and I have enjoyed hearing advice from our precious friends, family, and pastors. We ask that everyone pray for us that we would continue to put God first and that God would be able to use our marriage for His glory.

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.

Keep Praying!

"Give me your arms for the broken hearted
The ones that are far beyond my reach
Give me your heart for the one's forgotten
Give me your eyes so i can see"
Today the IMB informed me that I was withdrawn from the original task that I was assigned and was offered another opportunity with college students in a different region. This was a tough decision but I decided on the short one month notice and with a different job than I originally signed up for that I would not be able to accept it. This is such a tough decision because my heart is so heavy. I feel like I need to do so much more beyond just this little world that I am consumed in. I want to share with people who haven't simply heard the Word and choose not to obey it. But with those who have never heard. I might go to school, work, and try to spend time with my family but I want to make an eternal difference in someone's life. Please keep praying that God will be able to use me here and that maybe in the future, when the time is right, that God could use me maybe in other nations.

New Opportunities!

I'm so thankful for the opportunity to serve in South Asia starting in January until July 2011. I've been praying for about a year that God would be able to use me for His will. How awesome is our God that he even uses the weak and the unworthy according to His will? I recently got offered to work with the Third Culture Kids in South Asia where I can teach physical education and work with the 35 students.
Thanks to everyone who is reading my blog and I hope that this will be a useful way for me to post specific prayer requests during this time. Right now I ask that yall could pray for preparation both spiritually and with getting my visa, funds, and immunizations. I'm so blessed to have this opportunity and support from friends and family!
